Engineers who are productive in week one, not month three.
TechKTM places vetted technology professionals into your team — on contract, contract-to-hire or direct placement. We screen for the engineering ability the role actually needs, not for keyword matches on a résumé.
Why most technical hiring takes too long and still misses
The standard staffing process optimises for volume. A requisition goes to several agencies, each sends a stack of résumés matched on keywords, and your engineering leads spend hours screening people who cannot do the work. The good candidates, meanwhile, accept offers elsewhere during the delay.
The second problem is context. A contractor who is technically capable but unfamiliar with your domain, stack conventions and deployment process still takes six to eight weeks to become genuinely productive. On a six-month engagement, that is a quarter of the contract spent ramping.
We run a smaller, deeper process: fewer candidates, screened by engineers who have done the work, with onboarding support so people contribute early rather than eventually.
How we approach it staffing & talent solutions
Role definition before sourcing
We spend time on what the person will actually build and which skills are genuinely required versus nice to have. Most over-specified requisitions are the reason a role stays open for months.
Engineer-led technical screening
Candidates are assessed by people who have held the role. You receive a short shortlist with an honest written assessment of each person's strengths and gaps.
Culture and working-style fit
Remote maturity, communication style and comfort with your process matter as much as technical depth, particularly on distributed teams.
Structured onboarding
We help placed engineers get productive quickly — environment setup, codebase orientation and clear first-fortnight goals agreed with your lead.
Ongoing performance check-ins
We stay involved after placement. If a placement is not working, we would rather know in week three than at contract end.
What you get
Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need. These are the deliverables that typically make up a it staffing & talent solutions programme.
- Role scoping and realistic market-rate guidance
- Engineer-screened shortlist with written assessments
- Contract, contract-to-hire and direct placement options
- Compliance, background checks and onboarding paperwork
- Structured first-30-day onboarding plan
- Replacement guarantee within the agreed period
- Ongoing performance check-ins through the engagement
What changes for the business
Roles close in weeks rather than quarters, and the people who arrive are productive early. Your senior engineers stop spending their time screening unsuitable candidates, and delivery commitments stop slipping because a critical seat was empty.
IT Staffing & Talent Solutions: common questions
What roles do you typically staff?
Software engineers, cloud and DevOps engineers, data engineers, solution architects, security specialists, QA engineers and technical project managers — across the same disciplines we deliver ourselves.
How quickly can you present candidates?
For common roles, a screened shortlist usually lands within 5–10 business days of an agreed role definition. Highly specialised or security-cleared roles take longer, and we will say so upfront rather than promise a timeline we cannot meet.
What if a placement doesn't work out?
Every placement carries a replacement guarantee for an agreed period. We would rather absorb the cost of replacing someone than have you carry a poor fit through a contract.
Contract or direct hire — which is better?
Contract suits defined-scope work and uncertain runway; direct hire suits permanent capability you will keep building on. Contract-to-hire is a reasonable middle path when both sides want to evaluate fit first.
